Every request requires a prelude,
And it is the expression of gratitude.

When next you decide to brood,
About the things you don't have, but think you should,
Just remember He has been good.

If only we really understood,
Love of such magnitude
Gratitude would be our attitude
And we would thank The Lord every chance we could.
